![]() ![]() They also take the time to explain why the plants are chosen and where to put them in the initial setup. Keep an eye for videos by u/SimplyTT since they usually have a good line up o f plants that aren't premium (the ones you buy with real money) and are all around level 5. Unless you have high level mastery plants, just avoid the bruised/ineffective plants. You'll see them marked with a green arrow pointing upwards (buffed), a yellow arrow pointing down (bruised) or a red "x" (ineffective). Sometimes, they'll also have a plant family that is "bruised" which basically means your plants in that family will not be as effective and some will have no effect at all. Unless your goal is to move up a tier, just play those to either get seeds/mints and save your gauntlets for the longer tournies.Įvery tournie will have a plant family boosted. I've also discovered that the 3 day ones aren't worth the effort to finish top 3. I've noticed that if you join back after a tournament ends a bit later in the day, the group is filled with less competitive people (though that's not always the case). But in the Jade league, it can get quite competitive so it's a matter of finding the right balance of where you want to finish and how many gauntlets you're willing to spend to get there. The higher tiers/league will offer more seeds/piñatas in the very limited streak (7 games total, before it resets), and the total reward for finishing first is also nicer. Since the change, it's a lot more difficult to level plants, so it's just grinding and lots of patience. But once you start playing there, save your gems for gauntlets or to unlock some of the seediums that are released from time to time. And again, before Arena, I used to buy seed packets from the store. Posting them will result in a removal and short banīefore I started back and tried Arena, I simply replayed a lot of the easy levels for the seed packets.
